Dr. Andrea Renee, DACM, LAc., is the founder of Chillax Om Natural Health & Longevity Center in Evergreen, CO.
A Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, Licensed Acupuncturist in Colorado and California, and NCBAHM-certified Diplomate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, she also holds a Doctoral Degree and Master degree in Acupuncture & herbal medicine in addition to a Master’s in Health and Human Performance Coaching and is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation.
Since 2007, Dr. Andrea has worked with more than 10,000 clients, combining acupuncture, herbal medicine, Qigong, Yoga and lifestyle coaching into individualized care plans.

Dr. Andrea Renee, DACM, founder of the Chillax Om Foundation 501c3 Non-profit Charity Wellness Hour treatment and self care education program in 2021, dedicates her life thus forward to honoring her mother, who died on March 25, 2023.
In Dr. Andrea’s words, “May the life she gave me and all the sacrifices she and my father made personally for my behalf be justified by the value my life contributes to humanity. I am forever grateful to God, my family, real friends, teachers, and colleagues without whom I would have already died and would have nothing of value internally or externally to stand on or to contribute.”

Dr. Andrea Renee Rivera had a profound life changing experience when she was hit by a taxi cab as a pedestrian in New York City. With a 90% chance of death from the accident, her life then took on a whole new way of living by healing her body, her mind and her inner emotional well-being. Since her car accident in 1994, it is Dr. Renee’s resolute mission to empower others to find lasting relief and reclaim their well-being by learning how to become their own medicine at will as she herself has done, utilizing the lifestyle tools she personally practices daily of Yoga, Meditation, Chigong, Acupuncture, Herbology, Diet and Personal Development. Story of Andrea
Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine
Driven by her own personal history of chronic pain and PTSD since a life threatening car accident in 1994, it is Dr. Renee’s resolute mission to empower others to end their own suffering by learning how to become their own medicine at will, as needed, as she herself has done, utilizing the lifestyle tools she personally practices daily of Yoga, Meditation, Chigong, Acupuncture, Herbology, Diet and Personal Development.
Education
Dr. Andrea Renee earned her Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (MATCM) at Yo San University in LA, CA, with specializations in Orthopedics and Chigong while completing her clinical internship at Yo San’s Blount Clinic with externships at Venice Family Clinic and The Wellness Center at LA County USC Hospital in 2016.
She completed her Doctoral Degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) at Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, CA in 2020 while at the same time completing the extensive 4000-hour CA State Acupuncture Board Tutorial Program in 2018 as a Doctoral Fellow, Assistant Clinic/Herbal Medicine Pharmacy Supervisor and Board Exam Tutor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at AOMA University of Integrative Medicine in Austin, TX, the top 5 Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine University in the U.S.
In 2024, Dr. Andrea completed her Masters of Science in Health and Human Performance Coaching at Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego fulfilling the International Coaching Federation (ICF) PCC certified coach requirements and became an ICF certified PCC in April 2025 after completing over 1200 coaching hours with her patients in 2024.
In Aug. 2025 she completed the 8 month, Facial Acupuncture for Cosmetic Enhancement (FACE), Cosmetic Acupuncture Certification program from Pacific College of Health & Science in San Diego.
She is currently a masters candidate in the Internationally accredited Texas A&M Corpus Chisti University MBA online degree program set to graduate in 2028.
Dr. Andrea graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree in 1995 from Pace University in New York City that is highly regarded for both business and arts. Pace is recognized for its business education, specifically through its Lubin School of Business, which is in the top 7% for return on investment and nationally ranked. It is also acclaimed for performing arts (top 20 nationally).

Dr. Andrea Renee has been practicing Acupuncture and Herbology in CA and CO in private practice since 2019. She has been working with over 10,000 clients since 2007 and receiving 5 star reviews as an acupuncturist as well as a Yoga and Meditation Instructor since 2007 plus a Life Coach and Asian Bodywork Therapist practicing Medical Chigong Energy Work, Acupressure, Cupping, Auriculo-Therapy treatments & Exercise Therapy since 2010. In 2021 she Founded her own 501c3 Non-Profit Chillax Om Foundation Inc., providing over 250 free group ear acupuncture treatments/year to her local community in Evergreen, CO in 2025. Since 2021 she has delivered over 1000 free treatments as of Dec. 2025 with 750 free treatments delivered in Los Angeles, CA from 2021-2023 and 250 free treatments delivered in CO to local Jefferson County residents in 2025.
Before becoming a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Dr. Andrea Renee was the Co-Founder and President of Andrea Renee, Inc., an innovative jewelry design and manufacturing house based in the SOHO district of Manhattan from 1992-2007.
She enjoyed 15 years of international acclaim as one of New York Magazine’s “Favorite Downtown Jewelry Designers” with celebrity clients of her own SOHO Boutique including Drew Barrymore, Rob Thomas (Match Box 20), Chris Robinson (Black Crows), Lenny Kravitz, Liv Tyler, and Julianne Moore.
After starting her company at the age of 19 while at Pace University as a BFA student, she quickly arrived at the top of her industry in 1994, with her jewelry collection being featured at department stores including Barney’s New York and Japan, Daimaru, Fortunoff, Bloomingdales and Nordstom, as well as her own exclusive SOHO NYC boutique. Acting as her company’s spokesperson She was featured consistently for 12 years in monthly international editorial and television coverage including New York Magazine, In Style, Entertainment Weekly, Cosmo Japan, Elle, New York Post, and Good Day New York.
